Jordan is a phenomenal son who is learning to see without the use of his eyes and fly without the use of his wings. I see myself in him and hear myself when he speaks. I have learned that heroes don’t always have to be older than you because Jordan is one of mine. Whenever we are together, we often spend precious hours in that mystical fourth watch of the night. There we can communicate without words. A stargazer, Jordan inspires others with his visions of fantastical worlds and kingdoms where dragons are to be slain and castles protected. I think of him every minute when we are not together, find peace in his smile and much love in his tears. .
